This site was built with simplicity, convenience, and clarity in mind. If you’re here for the first time, this quick guide will help you quickly find the content that interests you.
Main Menu — everything is here
All site content is organized in the drop-down main menu. Open the section that interests you and expand its subsections — you’ll find descriptions, galleries, curiosities, and additional materials there. Most photos are in the Main Gallery. The collection is constantly growing — we keep adding new images (goal: 1,500+ and beyond)
In many sections you’ll find galleries with filter panels alongside. Depending on the section, you can browse and narrow results by country of origin/purchase, material, or type of object. When a given item has a more detailed description, you’ll see an option to open the full entry.
Search
A search bar is available in the navigation bar. Enter a word or phrase (e.g., material, country, motif). If there’s a match, it will appear in the results.
Language versions
The site can be viewed in multiple languages. Currently, English and German are available, and more languages will be added over time.
We want the site to be substantive and user-friendly. If you have comments — including critical ones — don’t hesitate. We don’t take offense: we read everything, draw conclusions, and implement improvements. Write freely — suggestions for improvements, ideas for new sections, tips on navigation and content presentation. Together, we’re developing ThreeMonkeys.center in the right direction.
