Three Monkeys Collections of Collectors from Around the World

INKA

Inka is an exceptional collector whose passion for the Three Wise Monkeys began back in her school days. She bought her very first figurines at the legendary Cepelia store in Lublin — a place well known during the communist era in Poland for its traditional handicrafts and unique artistic creations. It was there, many years ago, that she found her first Three Monkeys, marking the beginning of her extraordinary journey into the world of the “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” symbol.

Since then, many years have passed, and her collection has grown to several hundred unique pieces. Among them are true treasures — figurines specially commissioned and created exclusively for her. These one-of-a-kind items often exist nowhere else in the world, making her collection truly remarkable.

Inka now lives in Warsaw, but her collection has become truly global. She loves to travel, and every trip is an opportunity to discover something extraordinary. Her search for rare pieces takes her to local craft markets, hidden art galleries, and small artisan workshops across the globe.

One of the most memorable milestones in her collector’s journey was her trip to Japan 🇯🇵 , where she visited the famous Nikkō shrine, home to one of the world’s most iconic depictions of the Three Wise Monkeys. It was a dream come true and a turning point in her passion for collecting. But, as Inka says, this is far from the end — the world of the Three Monkeys is vast and still full of secrets and inspiration.

For Inka, collecting is more than just a hobby — it’s a way to connect with cultures, history, and people. Each figurine tells its own story, carrying with it the heritage of its origin and the artistry of the craftsperson who created it.

Below, you’ll find a selection of Inka’s collection highlights. This gallery shows only a fraction of her impressive treasures, but each item has its own unique history and special meaning.
